Isifonyo
Isifonyo is a zulu word which means musk in english, while the mask for corona doesnt look like the original isifonyo, it has been called isifonyo because of similarities, xhosa can also use the same word isifonyo as amazulu. Sesotho and setshwana should have a different name for isifonyo. The original used for isifonyo is a material that is used to stop calves from sucking and to stop dogs from biting people. Balaclava in isizulu is called imfene, there is a clothing that people wear thay shows only your eyes and mouth, that is what we refer as balaclava, not the baboon though.
